PROJECT COORDINATOR INTERN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, execution and closeout of retail construction projects
- Gather information on job-specific needs
- Solicit a minimum of three qualified subcontractor bids per trade, on each project with Project Coordinator review
- Source and price material, equipment and labor
- Manage material, equipment, and labor orders and delivery
- Maintain and organize electronic documentation
- Organize and ensure timely receipt of daily reports from Superintendents
- Review daily reports from Superintendents, escalating issues as necessary
- Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Assist Project Coordinator with job closeouts
- Contribute to safe field and office environments by suggesting improvements
- Attend and contribute to project discovery meetings
- Assist Project Coordinator in collecting final invoices, warranties, and lien waivers from subcontractors in timely manner
- Support the improvement of internal procedures and policies
- Other duties may be assigned

- Actively enrolled student at college, university, or technical / trade school
- At least one year of customer service experience highly preferred
- Intermediate experience in, Microsoft Office products: Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Excellent time management organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
